Commitment to Parish Life (CPL) funding supports and sustains the vitality and mission of our parish through more than 50 ministries and community partnerships. CPL allows us to answer Pope Francis’ challenge to all Catholics to “lead the way and be a shining example of the power of mercy to heal wounds, forgives trespasses and bring harmony in our families and communities.”
One of the ways your CPL contribution is a beacon of mercy in Minnesota, and beyond, is through SJTW’s participation in THEE Alliance. THEE Alliance is a coalition of Upper Midwest faith communities that have joined together to purchase discounted hospital medical debt through a non-profit called RIP Medical Debt. So far this year, SJTW contributions have FORGIVEN more than $665,000.00 in medial debit to 797 families (443 Minnesota families)!
