Pack with Purpose

It’s 2025! At the beginning of this Jubilee year, the Pack with Purpose ministry invites you to join in providing hope to those rebuilding their lives.
Life Rebuilders is a non-profit Faith-Based organization that exists to provide HOUSING and Programs to adults.  Short or long-term housing is available for those who have been released from prison, treatment centers or who are homeless.
Their mission is to transform lives through life-skills, coaching, support, and supervision while providing a balanced mix of structure and freedom.
Life Rebuilders operates transitional housing in quiet, single-family neighborhoods, where residents can stay as long as needed to prepare for independent living. Weekly fellowship and one-on-one mentoring help residents find hope and experience transformation as they build a path to becoming productive members of our community.
As part of this effort, there will be a collection of Welcome Bag items to provide an encouraging start for each new resident. If you’d like to help, please purchase any of the items listed. Donations can be dropped off in the Pack with Purpose bin located in the Faith Formation gathering space throughout January.

Welcome Bags will be packed on Monday, February 10, at 6:30 PM.  All are welcome!

SJTW is the best! Thanks to your donations and support, we were able to pack 120 Bags of Joy for our friends at Mobile Hope.  These bags, filled with thoughtful gifts and essentials, bring warmth and happiness to those who might not receive any other presents this holiday season. Together, we are making the season brighter for those in need. God bless you all!

Pack with Purpose – Packing Event
Thanks to your generous donations of school supplies, the Pack with Purpose group packed 110 full backpacks for CROSS Services! Your support will make a significant impact in the lives of the children and families we serve, ensuring that students have the tools they need for a successful school year.
We are so blessed to have such a caring community that lives out the call to serve others.  Thank you SJTW!

We are overjoyed to share the incredible impact of your generosity! Thanks to your donations, we have successfully donated 50 backpacks and assembled nearly 300 emergency packs for Massie’s Mobile Mission. These packs are now ready to be distributed to our neighbors on the streets. We pray that each pack will bring nourishment to the bodies, comfort to the spirits, and hope to the hearts of those who receive them.  Thank you, SJTW!

Thank you to all who generously donated items and those who packed 34 baskets for individuals moving into new apartments at Touchstone Mental Health. Your contributions have not only provided practical items but also served as a sign of hope and kindness to those facing mental health challenges. Let us continue to shine the light of God's love and support those in need in our community.

Thank you for your generous donations to Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge! Our Pack with Purpose group was able to pack 62 welcome bags for women joining their Jesus centered recovery program. We also heard impactful testimonies from those who have graduated from their programs. Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge asks for our continued prayers for those struggling with addiction and their loved ones.

It's safe to say our first Pack with Purpose was a success!! Thank you to all those who donated and all those who came to pack. We were able to give 54 completed "Welcome Home" baskets to Touchstone Mental Health! If you'd like to join in the fun next time, come to St. Joseph Hall on Monday, April 25 at 6:30 pm. We will be packing Birthday Bags for CROSS. Donations for this pack can be left in the Pack with Purpose bin in the Faith Formation Gathering Space.
