Hope Week 2025: Mission Accomplished (with some help from the Holy Spirit!)
What a week! Whether you joined for a day or rolled up your sleeves all week long, thank you for making Hope Week a shining example of what happens when faith meets action. Together, we built decks, trust, community, new relationships, and so much more!
From yard cleanups to driveway repairs, from scrubbing floors to spreading mulch, Hope Week volunteers helped improve the Dayton and Corcoran Hope Centers from the ground up. There were benches added, supplies organized, and preparations made for the busy fall season ahead.
We also worked at multiple residents’ homes, tackling yard cleanups, painting, and deck repairs. Mobile Hope residents received not just practical help, but dignity and encouragement. Coffee hour and the Taco Tuesday community meal sparked conversation and companionship, and a generous food distribution gave families a chance to choose what they needed most.
The Holy Spirit was undeniably at work, guiding hands, opening hearts, and fueling energy (even on our last day!). Hope Week was no small feat, but with joyful service, it became a week of transformation.
THANK YOU SJTW! Your prayers and financial support made this week not only possible but powerful.
Thank you, all volunteers, for saying yes. Let’s keep building hope—together.
