Volunteers from SJTW came together July 25-29 for the ChristPower Mobile Hope Mission. They provided a variety of outdoor maintenance and yard work to residents of the Mobile Home community in Dayton, MN
Mobile Hope is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry that provides on-site direct services and resources for the residents of mobile home parks in Corcoran and Dayton MN. They serve, to break the generational cycle of poverty and provide youth and families with tools to empower them toward upward mobility. Mobile Hope was formed on the foundation of our Christian faith, which compels us to both love God and love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40). Their vision is to see all people, regardless of economic status or culture, as God sees them and honor Him by serving those around us. This hope is clearly stated in their theme-verse of Romans 15:13 - "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
