Catholic Engaged Encounter

Developed over 40 years ago, Catholic Engaged Encounter (CEE) is a community‐based Catholic marriage preparation ministry based on Catholic teachings and values that are endorsed and approved by the Catholic Church from the Vatican to dioceses and local parishes worldwide. Our local CEE community is part of this global ministry who believes in the sanctity of marriage and whose goal is to ensure the future of these couples is strong, healthy, and God-centered. CEE offers a unique approach that gives engaged couples an inside look at marriage. The presenting teams – two strong Catholic married couples and a priest – will share many tools that are necessary for a sacramental marriage through various talks with themes such as:

•    Communication
•    Conflict resolution
•    Intimacy
•    Natural family planning
•    Financial fidelity
•    Forgiveness
•    Sacrificial love
•    Living out marriage as a Sacrament

During the weekend, couples are given time to focus on each other, writing after each talk, sharing their writings with each other, and discussing their thoughts and feelings in a safe and loving environment. We show the couples how to help make their marriage successful with God’s help.
