The Angel Quilters are in search of people who like to sew with a purpose. Our quilts are donated to the homeless and organizations supporting people in need. The quilt tops are a simple design made from prepackaged squares. Work from home, at your own pace. View examples of large, lap, and baby quilts on display in St. Joseph Hall. Please call Jean 763-559-0847 if interested in learning more.
The Angel Quilters would like to thank the Ladies Auxiliary for their continued financial support. Their donations over the last year have helped the Angel Quilters cover the expenses of cleaning and fixing our sewing machine and three Sergers, and purchasing multiple rolls of fiber fill. The Angel Quilters make and give away approximately 30 quilts a month for the homeless, nursing homes and facilities helping those in need.
St. Joseph the Worker Angel Quilters would like to thank Wright-Hennepin Electric for the $750 grant it received. The money will help fund the purchase of fiber fill that we use in our ministry. We, and all those in need that we serve, appreciate the help that this grant will provide.
Even with the restrictions of Covid the diligent and caring Angel Quilters have been able to assemble and give away 528 quilts this past year. We are starting our 23rd year with a total to 6,227 quilts given to people in need.
Please consider joining the Angel Quilters, even if it is see what we are doing. We meet on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Tuesdays of the month from 9:00 am-12 noon. No knowledge of quilting is necessary, just a willingness to thread a needle and tie a knot. Drop by any time to see what we are doing and join in the fellowship. Questions please call Jean 763-559-0847
The Angel Quilters received a grant from The Wright-Hennepin Electric Trust (WHET) for $500 to buy fiberfill for our quilts. That will help make about 130 large quilts out of the 325 large quilts we make each year. Thank you to The Wright-Hennepin Electric Trust for recognizing the value of our ministry and work.

Angel Quilters Celebrating 20 years and 5000 Quilts
St. Joseph the Worker Angel Quilters are celebrating 20 years of our ministry. During that time we have made and distributed 5141 quilts to those in need. The quilts are donated to infant, youth, family, senior, and homeless facilities throughout the Twin Cities, African missions, and relief efforts throughout the state. We rely on the generosity of the parish for material, sheets, thread, and cash donations for quilt fiberfill. The 32 members would like to thank the parishioners for their continued support. Donations are accepted in the Angel Quilters Box located in the Education Entry.
The Angel Quilters always welcome new members to join the ministry even if it is for one day to “see what we are about.” It is as simple as threading a needle and tying a knot. Please join our fellowship downstairs the second, third, or fourth Tuesday of the month from 9:30-12:00. Call Jean 763-559-0847 with questions.
