You might be wondering

When does Moms Group meet?
Moms Group meets every other Thursday morning at St. Joseph the Worker from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the lower level. (See calendar dates to the right.)

What happens during meetings?
Typically, we share a light brunch, pray together and listen to a speaker or participate in an outreach project. Presentations are geared toward feeding body, mind and spirit. We strive to offer a variety of topics.

Are members required to attend all scheduled meetings?
Of course not! We know, moms are busy. Come to one, a few or all – whatever fits your schedule and your interest.

Do I have to be a member of St. Joseph the Worker?
No. All mothers are welcome!

Are dues required?
Dues are $20 per year to cover the operating cost of the group. We don’t want dues to hold you back, so assistance is available if needed.

Is childcare provided?
Yes. Childcare is available in the nursery. Our group employs two dedicated caregivers, and a $2 donation per child is requested each meeting in order to offset their salary.

Do I have to put my child(ren) in the nursery?
No. If you find it necessary, having your child(ren) with you at the meeting is certainly an option.

Do I have to be a mother of young children to participate?
No. Mothers of all ages with children of all ages are welcome. In fact, young mothers are sure to benefit from the experienced and seasoned moms!
